Digital Gardens

The concept of “digital gardens” goes back to the 90s.

A digital garden is a space for evolving thoughts, interests, and learnings. It is a space–usually created on some kind of website (or in some kind of personal knowledge management system) where you can can curate a continuously updated collection of things you’d like to share, in a way that grows and changes over time. One unique feature of digital gardens is that it can exist in a way that is independent of the constraints of social media algorithms or other existing sites. You can create your own way for organizing information, link ideas together, creating a larger, interconnected web over time.
