Keeping your heart open to love (signs of growth)

There was a time when opening your heart to love again felt like trying to climb an impossibly high mountain. There was a time when you thought that desiring love meant that you were too needy or too much. But slowly but surely, you're learning that that's not true. You're learning that it doesn't make you weak to need other people in life. Even if you are having to wait to see what "love" and "connection" look like in this season of your life, what matters is that you know you have grown in courage as you allow yourself to imagine what the future could be. May you continue to be kind to yourself when fears and doubts come up, and may there be room to grow in courage and love. MHN
