Assemblage (what post-diagnosis life has been teaching me)

It’s time to make something new (what post diagnosis life is teaching me).

This post is longer than intended it to be but I wanted to share it in its entirety, for anyone else who is struggling to find language for what they’re experiencing or feeling right now.

This is a little “instagram zine” that shares my journey of learning to take the pressure off myself to communicate in own way, post-ASD/ADHD/SPD diagnosis. Feel free to “save for later” if any of that is relatable. Or, just swipe to the last slide for the main idea :)

About the images: This is a 10-slide series of a mixedmedia “zine” that features the longer version of the story of what I shared above. There is abstract artwork and floral illustrations, an image of the assemblage artist LV Hull and collage elements.

🚧 Note: This zine is a little under construction / more of a prototype! Someday, I may actually align the pages to fit perfectly as if you were flipping through a book, but in the meantime, this is just something I was exploring and never finished, in this format.
